Introducing Playaway Audio
Peach Public Libraries is introducing a new audio format for enjoying audio recordings.

Playaways are "ready-to-go" audio players containing an entire audiobook in a self-contained player smaller than a deck of cards that weights only two ounces. No cassettes. No CDs. No Downloads. Just Play.

Playaways allow users to navigate back and forth through a chapter, adjust the volume up or down, alter the speed of a narrator's voice, and resume play from bookmarked positions.

To listen to a Playaway, you will need a set of headphones. The universal jack works with almost any type of headphone.

Newly stocked titles include "Small is the New Big" by Seth Godin; "The 8th Habit - from Effectiveness to Greatness" by Stephen E. Covey; "The Tipping Point" by Malcolm Gladwell; "Execution - The Discipline of Getting Things Done" by Larry Bossidy and Ram Charan; "Winning" by Jack Welch; "The Da Vinci Code" by Dan Brown; "Therapy" by Jonathan Kellerman; "Cross" by James Patterson; and "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad.
