How Do I...

  • Remotely Access PPL Email

    Access Georgia Public Libraries Email here (requires email username and password).
    Username is ENTIRE email address xxxxx@mail.peach.public.lib.ga.us

  • Access the database of Local History and Reference Genealogy materials

    Access the OPAC for searching (no password required)
    Access the BACKEND for entering records into the database (requires staff username and password)


What To Do If...

  • Patron would like to purchase a copy of "The History of Peach County, Georgia"

    Patron should mail TWO CHECKS: one check for $30.00 made payable to Peach County Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), second check for $5.00 made payable to Peach Public Libraries to cover postage.
    Both checks should be mailed, together, to Attention: Jane Matthews - Peach Public Libraries, 315 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Fort Valley, GA 31030

  • Patron requests a proctored exam

    Proctoring exams will offered based on staff availability. Arrangements for proctored exams must be made with the circulation manager PRIOR to exam day. The fee for proctoring exams is $25.00 per exam and must be collected prior to proctoring.

  • Patron requests notary services

    Notary services will offered based on staff availability. The fee for notary service is $4.00 and must be collected prior to notarization. Patrons must bring documents UNSIGNED so they may signed in the presence of the notary. Pre-signed documents WILL NOT be notarized.

  • Refunding Payment for a recovered "LOST" Item

    If a lost item is found and returned within 1 year of payment, a refund of the paid replacement value, MINUS the overdue fines which have accrued, will be given. The "found" materials may be returned to any PINES library, with the understanding that the owning library will be the final authority on whether the material is in acceptable condition for return. The owning library will issue a refund check to the patron via U.S. Mail. The refund check will be payable to the library cardholder on whose record the materials were circulated.

  • Patron requests PAPER version of FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

    Patrons can request a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243) or 1-319-337-5665. Hearing impaired students may contact the TTY line at 1-800-730-8913. More information available at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/index.htm

  • I have a building repair or maintenance issue

    For emergency building repair or maintenance issues, contact James Ross, Peach County Public Works, mobile number (478) 808-5018. For non-emergency issues, contact Peach County Public works at (478) 825-8717. Follow up both emergency and non-emergency issues with a fax to Public Works (478) 825-2684 for documentation for our files.

  • I want to show a movie during a library program

    Movie Licensing USA provides the public performance licensing for the library. Before showing a movie, visit the Movie Licensing USA website to make sure that our license covers the movie you plan to show.

    Use the customer log-in page to access movie related resources, such a posters, bookmarks, activity sheets, coloring sheets, etc. (requires Customer ID # 194919-1)
